  • Jay Forge
    Owner
    Jay Forge

Jay was born in Providence, Rhode Island, and has lived in the state for over 50 years. For the past 35 years, he has lived in Glocester, Rhode Island where he owns and operates Tourbillion Land & Cattle and Tourbillon Trailer Sales.

He is also a real estate entrepreneur who has built a mini-empire from a dream he had as a young man.  The dream began a self-fulfilling prophecy when he stumbled upon 100 acres of raw, tree-filled land in Glocester. Using ceative financing to purchase, he developed the land into a 59 acre-gentleman's farm, a prosperous trailer facility and, created a subdivision of nine lots including a street, Cody Drive.  Presently, there are nine homes and nine families who reside there.  This was the first planned unit development in the Town of Glocester and, when this was being developed, was touted as the most successful sub-division in Glocester.

Mr. Forgue also identified the site, purchased the real estate, personally developed and sub-divided a 53-acre plat of land into four lots, known as Unbridled Estates, Harmony, Rhode Island.  This is an exclusive, high-end residential community catering to horse enthusiasts.

In addition, Mr. Forgue identified the site, purchased and personally developed Affordable Self-Storage, the only self-storage facility in Glocester, Rhode Island.

Also an avid horseman and horse owner himself, Mr. Forgue has been involved with horses most of his life:  breeding Thoroughbreds, working in the racing industry, sending breeding stock all over the world, and in the horse trailer business.  Today, Mr. Forgue owns New England's largest horse and commercial trailer dealership (not to mention the largest builder of custom trailers) in the Northeast.  Nonetheless, he still takes the time to compete with his cutting horse and recently placed well in his division.
